European Silverlight Challenge
Believe in your talent and join the “European Silverlight Challenge” Competition – Dare to participate with us on the European Development Competition about Silverlight and win fabulous prizes, and of course the recognizement of winning one of the first places ;)
Visug is selected as the Belgian usergroup to host the first “European Silverlight Challenge“ . This competition, organized by INETA EUROPE (http://europe.ineta.org), in collaboration with Microsoft runs until the end of January.
Currently, this contest is already taking place in Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands, Ireland, Poland, France, Spain, Croatia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and now also in Belgium.
What is this competition all about? Developers can apply for this Contest with their web components or applications with user interface developed using Silverlight technology.
The Contest will be executed in two phases:
1. National Contests
a. Should be organized and executed by INETA Country Leaders or local INETA Team appointed by INETA Country Leaders.
2. European Contest – Grand Finals
a. Only 1 participant from the group of participants that have been awarded with 1st places at National Contest will enter European Contest.

This competition is based on the development of a web component or application using Silverlight for its user interface and with the only condition that it to be published as Open Source (license MS-PL), being able to apply these components free of charge to the user group’s web sites and online technical communities. It is organized on a country base and then there will be a European Finals with the winners of each country.
